White sweet wine from dried grapes. Sun-drying the grapes for 10-12 days.
Fermentation with native yeasts
Residual sugars over 40 gr/L.
Tasting
Beautiful copper color. Appealing aroma, reminiscent of “strawberry” grape sprinkled with pepper but also sweet grape spoon-preserve and rose.
It is also accompanied by notes of honey and flowers. Full and peppery taste, with a nice – slightly syrupy – feel. The taste is not at all bitter and reminds of a sweet grape.
Pairing
The peppery characteristic is more intense in the aftertaste. It pairs perfectly with fruit salads with lots of black and red fruits, Santorini melitini, “kopanisti” cheese and fruit tarts.
